case study
Played a key role in delivering passive fire protection for Altus House, Leeds - a 37‑storey, 752‑bed student accommodation building. The project’s scale and complexity required a robust and carefully coordinated fire-stopping strategy.
Our team installed fire-stopping systems, ensuring that the building maintained effective compartmentation and complied fully with UK fire safety regulations. The combination of a concrete structural frame with unitised glazing and stone cladding created numerous intricate interfaces, all of which were addressed with our fire-stopping solutions.
All works were carefully sequenced within the construction programme to integrate seamlessly with other trades, minimising disruption and supporting the safe, on-schedule delivery of this landmark high-rise development.
Through these measures, we played a key role in enhancing the fire safety and structural resilience of one of Leeds’ tallest and most prominent student accommodation buildings.
