case study

In October 2020, Fire Integrity were appointed by Deconstruct to apply Intumescent Paint to a mixed use development at 1 Berkeley Street, Piccadilly in Mayfair. The development includes a hotel, apartments, office and retail premises. The central Piccadilly location posed a number of challenges. With site access proving extremely difficult and requiring significant and costly scaffolding. There was also the threat of spray drift and migration when work commenced.

In order to avoid vapour in such a populated and built up area, while preventing a pause in construction, all spraying was completed off site at The Integra Factory.

Over 400 tons of structural steel were sprayed off site using FX6002 intumescent paint and decorative top seal, saving thousands and minimising disruption.
